- Jump is built specifically for financial advisors — SOC 2 Type II, FINRA/SEC-aware data handling, retention controls tuned for advisor record-keeping requirements. Verify the current security posture against your firm's IT/compliance review before signing.
- Meeting recordings + transcripts are sensitive client communications. Configure retention to match your firm's record-keeping policy (typically 3+ years for SEC/FINRA) — Jump can hold longer, but don't under-retain.
- Always notify meeting participants that Jump is recording — Jump's UI shows it as a participant, but verbal disclosure on each call is the safer compliance posture.
- Jump's CRM sync writes notes + tasks automatically. Review the field mapping during setup so PII doesn't land in fields that get used in client-facing exports or marketing pulls.
