Example stacks at three budgets

Hand-curated stacks for typical FA profiles. Use these as starting points; the right stack for you depends on whether you're on Google Workspace or M365, how many client meetings you run, and whether you're investing in advanced-planning revenue.

Solo advisor on a budget — ~$40/mo target $50

New FA, limited revenue, validating which AI tools matter before paying for everything.

Daily-driver LLM (Claude) for writing and analysis, cheap meeting scribe (Otter Pro), AI-from-prompt decks for prospect meetings (Gamma Plus), and a free AI calendar to defend focus time (Reclaim Lite). Upgrade Otter or move to Jump/Zocks once meeting volume exceeds 20/month.

Small RIA daily-driver stack — ~$89/mo target $100

Small pod (2-5 advisors), revenue covers reasonable per-user AI spend, wants real productivity gains.

Writing (Claude) + Google Workspace AI for in-app drafting (Gemini Workspace tier inherits the right data terms) + async client video (Loom) + branded visual content (Canva) + cross-tool automation (Zapier). Designed for firms on Google Workspace; swap Gemini for Copilot Business ($18) if you run M365 instead.

Growth-stage advanced-planning stack — ~$261/mo target $250

Established RIA with advisory-revenue ambitions beyond core portfolio management. Investing in tools that drive new engagements.

Claude as the writing daily-driver + Jump for compliance-aware meeting scribe with CRM sync + FP Alpha for document-driven advisory revenue (tax / estate / P&C analysis). FP Alpha typically pays for itself in 2-3 new advisory engagements driven from the diagnostics. Stretch budget by ~$20 to add Perplexity Pro for current-market research.
